The opening event of this year’s medieval celebration attracted many history enthusiasts of all generations to the Castle Park. Children were especially delighted, as they tried their hand at knightly skills, took part in fun games and creative workshops, and learned in an entertaining and educational way about the skills every good knight must master.
In addition to a varied selection of knightly duels and dances performed by the local medieval group and guests at Bled Castle, visitors could also enjoy their performances in the Castle Park.
The medieval programme continues throughout the week, with a medieval camp open every day in the Castle Park from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission is free.
The highlight of this year’s medieval events will take place on Saturday and Sunday, 6 and 7 June. Visitors can look forward to exciting knightly duels and performances at the castle, a rich crafts market in the castle car park, and the lively atmosphere of the medieval camp in the Castle Park.
We invite you into the world of brave knights, graceful castle ladies, and playful jesters.
